The most varied stress analysis measures are carried out during modernisation measures in existing buildings. These may include new wall and ceiling openings as the simplest alterations. However, more comprehensive static - structural alterations such as extensions, addition of balconies and lifts, additional storeys and partial deconstruction with extensions of new structures can also be planned. In the first phase the planning includes initial plans based on the existing documentation as instructions for cost effective alteration options and, where necessary, appraisals on the effects on the entire structural stability. The preparation for permission and execution plans follows in the second and third phase.
